Boch Frères Keramis Art Deco Stoneware Vase With Rooster  Belgium, Circa 1930's
 
A beautiful Belgian Art Deco stoneware vase by Boch Frères Keramis, La Louvière, dating from the first half of the 20th century, circa 1920–1940.
The vase is decorated with the well-known D.635 design, featuring stylized rooster medallions, geometric borders and soft green-blue matte glazes. The surface has a refined Art Deco character, combining rounded ovoid form, vertical linear decoration and ornamental friezes.
The underside is marked “Grès Keramis” and “D.635”, identifying the piece as part of the Keramis stoneware production. The design is associated with the Art Deco ceramic production of Boch Keramis and is often linked in the market to the artistic circle of Charles Catteau and Maurice Dufrène.
The vase is further enhanced with a gilt-metal mounted rim and base, giving the piece a decorative and elegant presentation.
