A refined French porcelain vase by Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres, dating from the mid-20th century, circa 1940s.
The vase features a deep cobalt blue glaze, also known as Sèvres blue, enhanced with fine gilt detailing. Small hand-applied gold insect motifs decorate the body, while the rim, shoulder and base are finished with elegant gilt lines.
The underside bears the red circular mark “Manufacture Nationale Doré à Sèvres”, indicating the gilding work executed at Sèvres, along with additional painted marks. Its tall baluster form, glossy blue glaze and minimalist gilt decoration make it a sophisticated decorative piece for both classic and contemporary interiors.
