This striking horse figure is inspired by the celebrated Tang dynasty sancai glazed pottery tradition. The piece features a warm amber-brown body, a green saddle and bridle details, and a cream-toned mane and base, creating the classic tri-colour effect associated with Tang-style decorative ceramics.
The horse is shown in a dynamic pose with one front leg raised, giving the sculpture a strong sense of movement and character. The hand-painted glaze shows natural variations, darker firing marks and small irregularities that add to its decorative charm.
